This hotel is easy to get to from Kyoto station. Take the 206 bus from Stand A3 ONLY (there is another stand where the 206 will take you In the opposite direction) and get off at the Shijo-Omiya intersection (7th stop, from memory). Walk back from the bus stop to the intersection, turn right and the hotel is maybe 100 metres along Shijo Dori. The room is very small, with limited space for luggage, but this is a Japanese business hotel, designed for efficiency, not luxury. A Japanese style breakfast is included, not really to my taste, but is OK. Otherwise, there are coffee-shops and cafes around. Facilities in the room have obviously been refined over decades and all work well, wifi was always good, for example. At the time of my visit, guests were mostly Japanese and Chinese and a sprinkling of tourists. The elevators are efficient and quick. There are laundry facilities on the ground floor which are reasonably priced and I never had any difficulty getting a machine.

The room was clean with comfortable mattress that made you have a good sleep all night. The breakfast is good with completely nutrients. The location is close to subway but not close to JR. But around the hotel there are so many good restaurants. The staffs are so nice, they are so helpful and kindness. I forgot some stuffs at the hotel when I checked out and they helped to ship the parcel to hotel in Osaka. I will recommend others to stay here.

The basic business hotel chain is always convenient with all amenities and basic breakfast. The twin room was bigger than we had come to expect in Japanese hotels. It was clean. The location was quite good, close to Omiya station (with direct link to Osaka) and a lot of bus lines.

Kerakera

Location at central Tokyo close to train station. We changed our room with two single bed separated by middle toilet to the usual twin bed with toilet at the side. Jannai the reception staff was very kind and helpful and facilitated the room change past midnight.

I really loved this property. It’s really easy to access. Really great location as a short walk to the centre. Clean, good amenities offered. Breakfast in the mornings. Really helpful when I asked for an extra pillow etc.
